This is where you come in order to interact the rest of the Wushu One Family community.
The speak section of the W1F website has a message board, for you to post questions and have open discussions about wushu, martial arts movies etc. If you don't want your discussions to be made public you can always just send private messages.
Alternatively if Instant Messaging is more you thing, then try out the W1F Messenger. Because we know you don't all use the same IM clients (e.g. MSN/Yahoo/AIM), instead you can use our instant messenger software to talk to other W1F users that you know are online. W1F Messenger is very similar to the big 3 mentioned above, except you don't need to download any software to get up and running. Its quick, its easy and you can use it at work (should be fine through the corporate firewall)! You can even open a conference and have several W1F users join in your dicussion in as close to real time as we could get.
In addition to all that we also have the Wushu Blogs and training diaries.
Blog entries will appear in a special message board forum (so they can be viewed in two different ways). Training diaries are slightly different, (you can make your diary entries public or private), set yourself targets (using the calender as your guide), and let us know how you get on.
OK, we know the diaries and the Blogs are similar, but we couldn't decide which would be best, so we just gave you both.
In order to gain access to all of this, all you need to do is open up a message board user account, it takes about two minutes, and you just need the one user account to access all the different parts of the site.

Moderation, Censoring and User/PC Bans
We don't like to moderate the website too strictly and as long as the content is wushu related we probably won't step in. But please remember that this is a wushu website so try to keep things martial arts related. If we start to get annoyed by posts we may have to start pressing the delete button and or restricting particular users from certain functions. If things get too bad we will be forced to ban people from posting content in the Speak section... If that doesn't work, we'll have to look at blocking them from accessing the entire site!
Don't get us wrong...
We're pretty easy goin, and we will try not to intervene as much as possible. (So if you get into any Internet beef you are on your own). Just don't abuse the website, a lot of hard work has gone into creating it.
One more thing... You will probably notice that we got rid of the whole idea of building up swords to show your rank. So posting a lot of messages about nothing will not increase your rank anymore. There are no swords, you can't get them.
